So the show in Constantine, MI went good despite some emotional stress (brought on from a close friend's funeral). Trevor and I got to see our parents, which is becoming a rare thing these days.

The tour is fast approaching. In fact, it's only days until we head out to the Cornerstone Festival grounds to partake in the activities.

Bryan and myself will also be playing with Left Out--I'm playing keyboards of all things...that's on Wednesday night and then on Thursday you can check out the blamed. We're going to leave the festival on 9 July and go to Chicago to do laundry and pack last minute items and then it's off to South Carolina to play with SELFMINDEAD.

I was talking with Matt today and it looks like Brazil is going to happen...more on that later I'm sure.

HEY. Alot has happened in the last few days...Our cds came back from the manufacturer, and they look great. Today I filled out a form for CMJ...and I'm getting ready to send of a couple of cds to them.

Just type in "Constantine, MI" in the destination field and don't forget to type your address in the starting field or else it won't work. It's on US 131. There's a big sign that says, I assume, THE APOCALYPSE.

hello. nothing is that new. we leave next week for tour. we will be gone on the first leg of the trip until august 13. we will try to update from the road. the dates of the tour will be posted at the end of the week. we are tying to hit as many states as we can. sorry to the kids in alaska-we will try to make it up there this fall. please come hang out with us at the festivals. we really dont like having down time at festivals and the only thing that saves it is hanging out with all of you. so come talk to us and take us to the good places to be in your city. see you in a little while. i love you all. matt

Only twenty days until we leave for tour. I'm so excited I can't stand it. Four shows with SELFMINDEAD and one with the black metal pioneers, MAYHEM !!!

hey, this is our new site. i like it very much. it only took nic 8 months but it turned out good. so this is what has happened so far. we toured Europe in january and had a great time. we met the best people all over. thanks to christian and the crew, and all the people we hung out with. we miss you all tons. we had such a good time over there that we decided to call our new e.p. "germany".

so we came home from europe got a new line-up, my wife gave birth to our son Lukas Oliver, went in the studio recorded 8 new songs, and toured the material with the mighty stavesacre. we did some shows with squad 5-0 and had a blast hanging out with them.

right now we have three weeks off and then we head out for two months this summer. the first leg of the tour is with scandanavia's finest, selfmindead. their new record is amazing. go buy it. we are getting to play with black metal's finest 'mayhem' in little rock, arkansas. the tour is still being booked, so check back for more dates. we are planning on doing the east coast this summer too.

there is talks of going to brazil, argentina, and chile. but talk is cheap when the story is good. we are finishing up a deal with a fine label in europe so our stuff will be over there soon. we are planning on touring europe this winter for three weeks, i will let you know more later. well, i will keep in touch, take care.

until you do, i was talking to matt last night and it looks like we're going to be doing a few shows of the summer tour with the Swedish group SELFMINDEAD. i can't wait. it's going to be the first few shows of our tour...myrtle beach SC, jacksonville, FL are the ones i know for sure...we'll let you know soon...

there is also talk of doing a european tour this winter with them...

The Blamed has recorded a new EP entitled Germany which will be available on Grrr Records through mail order or at shows. It will also be released on Burn Toast Vinyl.

The lastest thing is that we have been doing some small tours here and there, getting ready for our tour this summer. It has been going reall well, in fact bettern than I had anticipated. People have really enjoyed the new stuff, yet there's still an expectation for us to play all of our old stuff. The difficult thing has been that I think we play the new stuff better with this line up and that we are just tired of playing some of those old songs.
