sunsets and city lights today was spent in a relaxing fashion. watched the sun set over stuttgart in the air on the outside of a radio tower. and then had turkish food. roll the windows down and then up and then down and then up. repeat. tomorrow we drive to budapest, hungary. there will be a lot of window rolling going on for sure. i just wish we could keep the windows down. chemnitz we play in chemnitz on the 31st of july. i´m not sure where, but if you live in chemnitz i know you can find out where we´ll be. and then we´re off to freakstock. laters. cw [ 7/28/2002 05:49:43 PM ]

it´s half past one in the morning in möglingen (a village near stuttgart) and i am once again typing emails on a keyboard with funny little symbols like: ä ö ü and µ § ° on it. the last two days have been great fun dp festival was quite possibly one of the best music festivals i´ve ever been to. the bands and people and the scenery made it so. many many thanks to everyone who made our stay such a good one. leaving was not easy. nigel and dave our friends from the evaluation came to support bryan and his leftout sets at both dp and freakstock. it`s been great having them over here with us. back in germany tonight´s concert ended early because the police came and shut it down (it was outdoors) due to complaints from the neighbors. never deny and noisetoys got to play, but the police thought it was in order to stop noisetoys before they were finshed. thankfully enough, we were fed and we even sold some t-shirts without even playing, although bryan did a few songs by himself on acoustic guitar. tomorrow is a day off and then we drive to hungary on monday, play there on tuesday and then back to chemnitz and then freakstock. laters. cw [ 7/27/2002 06:34:26 PM ]
