redman canceled, vin diesel rules and neck piercings

so our show in milwaukee was, for the most part uneventful.

except for:

drunk college students telling us and i quote, "they drove 4000 miles from iowa" to see redman only to find he canceled.

a straight-edge kid with a hat that displayed three X's. i kept wanting to say to him, "dude, XXX (the movie triple X) was awesome!!! vin diesel rules!!!" but i didn't have the courage.

some hardcore kids with no more space on the front of their faces. trev and nigel brought it to my attention that there were some guys with neck piercings. sure enough, with some observation i found two that had bar-bells in the back of their necks. what the heck?

new ink so fresh it's still drying

john sant, the man over at fineprintmag.com has written a nice article on us. go read.

two down one to go

our shows in arkansas and oklahoma with living sacrifice went well.

many thanks to bradley.

many thanks to tim.

sorry to say, but our show in muskegon is cancelled.

please come and see us in milwaukee.

a night with the drang

of course our time in oklahoma would not have been complete without a visit from ester drang.

it's always good to see them and (thanks to jeff) hear about a once-in-a-lifetime slam dunk.

xjamiex

met up with our friend jamie at the plea for peace/take action tour last night.

he's been volunteering for national hopeline network and now he's selling merch for promise ring.

it was good to see him again and hear about his adventures since he moved to philadelphia from england.

from the warped tour, to cleaning buses for the jay-z, 311, hoobastank tour to now, sounds like he's having a grand time.

no brainer ! ! !

i knew kelly clarkson would win.

she deserves it, too.

i think i'll give it a shot

maybe the next time they swing through chicago.

after all the show has kept me glued to the television ever since i watched it for the first time.

and how funny would it be to become a popstar?

this rock and roll gig isn't quite all it's cracked up to be.
